My students love discovering new things. They have an enthusiasm for learning and for the world around them. Since they are young students, they are still learning to read and many don't see themselves as real readers. I want them to see themselves as capable of making their own discoveries and pursuing their own passions. In order to do this, I need a wide variety of reading material for them. Access to digital books will make a huge impact on their ability to find reading material that matches their interests and ability levels.
