In second grade at my school, I team teach Math and Science, so over two days I see 36 students. Our school strives to use positive behavior support and challenge students to be their best every day. My students are your average seven-year-olds that love to talk, play, and learn new things. My students need a lot of redirection and structure to help them be successful each day, as many of them are diagnosed ADHD. My school is a rural, low-income Title l school with over 80% free or reduced-price lunch.
