The shutdown in 2020 brought unfavorable consequences to student learning. There are tremendous learning losses. Students demonstrate low performance in math. The materials and supplies I am requesting are items that students will utilize as resources to accelerate learning and regain losses in math and science. These are essential tools in helping stimulate cognitive awareness of complex math concepts. We would like to also use some of these items to create a space where students can work together, learn, collaborate, and share projects and ideas related to STEM. We hope that these tools will further promote natural creativity. We want our students be able to practice critical thinking skills, challenge their imaginations, and come up with solutions to real-world problems.
