If I were to describe my students in one word, I would say, curious. They are curious about the world around them and have a genuine hunger for knowledge. They come to school eager to learn and also eager to share what they have learned.
As an ELL classroom, there are often language barriers that can affect their academic performance but I have never seen any of them let that get them down. They are a very positive group with a tight-knit community.
