These books will support my classroom novel study. Each student will be able to have their own copy of the book to participate in classroom discussions, and other various activities. The story is an important read for my fifth graders as they will soon be making a transition similar to the main character in Wonder.
Wonder is an incredibly powerful book that teaches the reader about courage, kindness, friendship, and character.
Wonder is an incredible read for fifth grade students, as it follows Auggie's first year of middle school from beginning to end. It's a year in which Auggie experiences the best and the worst of human nature and a year of tremendous emotional growth for him. The story teaches the reader that it is not enough to be friendly, you have to be a friend.
