My class has 13 boys and 8 girls. More than half the class are ESL learners. They are an extremely energetic and enthusiastic group. They need many different ways of receiving the same information. Repetition and learning through many modalities is important for this class. My school is located in an urban extremely low income area. Many of the students don't have the proper books at home to read at night. Many of them only hear English read or spoken in school. That is why it is important for them to have as many opportunities during the day to see, hear and use the English language.
