My 26 kids come from many different walks of life. Some kids come into kindergarten knowing all their letters, and sounds, and are ready to read. Many of the kids do come in with no back round of being a part of any school situation. Many of the kids come in, trying to figure out what is a right choice, what is not a good choice. I LOVE teaching kindergarten! For may of these children, I am their first teacher! I want to leave an impact on the start of their educational career. I am a mom in this community, I teach in this community, my kids go to school here! I LOVE, & LIVE for Lookout Mountain! I want this school to offer as much to the kids, as we possibly can. I want this school to be the BEST! I want these kids to learn to read, & write before they leave my classroom. My goal is to set high standards for these kids, I raise the bar high. By the end of the year, I want my kiddos to meet every benchmark, and further. With the NEW technology, think these goals would be met.
