I want to give my urban students an opportunity to interact with some of the animals we teach them about in our lessons. Most of my students have never been out of the Wilkes-Barre City area before, let alone in the woods and streams of their surroundings. We can teach them so much more about the importance of their natural world around them.
This live animal presentation will give them a chance to get up-close and personal to some very fascinating animals and possibly inspire them to get more involved in animal conservation.
Life long learning happens one experience at a time, or rather one animal at a time!
