Students learn better when they feel safe and secure. Currently students are finding it difficult to share the small carpet space we have. Having a larger carpet with specified spots will give each friend his or her own space will where they can feel safe and secure during whole group instruction.
Donations to this project will increase student safety and success.
With this carpet, not only will students be able to sit comfortably to see the smartboard, but it also allows safe passage for them to come up to the smartboard for enhanced learning and participation. This carpet also allows students to sit around the outside for community circle time.
