The Seaboard is a vehicle towards new types of musical expression and has an endless amount of applications in music education. Students have been learning about new innovations in music technology throughout their classes and this instrument would be a great way to integrate that into their daily routines. This instrument will impact all of the 400 students I teach in both school ensembles and in classroom music. Students in my bands and jazz ensembles will be able to use it to fully express their musicality in our performances, while students in general music classes will be able to experience new instruments and innovations in music technology to further their experiences.
