My students will be able to improve their communication skills while participating in activities such as word or sound bingo, activities on the whiteboards, or paper/pencil activities.
Some of my students work on traditional speech therapy goals, such as pronouncing sounds and words correctly or decreasing stuttering. Others work on understanding what is said to them and using words to express themselves. I also have students that cannot speak but use other means to communicate (electronic devices, pictures, sign language, etc.). All of these students learn best when group activities are engaging and fun.
