Thank you for looking at my profile and message! I've been working on grants to build an outdoor classroom for our students. Studies have shown that students do not spend enough time outdoors. These studies have documented that spending time in the sunshine and hands-on learning is beneficial to a child's education. My request is to purchase items that will create a weather station. The weather station will include a thermometer, weather vane, rain gauge, and an anemometer. I believe that learning science and weather in an outdoor environment will improve student learning.
