I teach four sections of 7th grade science and one Advisory. Through our curriculum, we learn about chemical reactions, energy, basic atomic theory, the engineering design process, human and animal anatomy, diseases, digestive processes, cellular respiration, photosynthesis, biodiversity, and the effects of human interference in animal habitats. The main underlying concepts throughout the whole unit are energy transfer and chemical reactions. It is an exciting foundation for students to learn about how the world around (and within) them works!

About my class
