Our school has a budding 3D club that dreams of a day they can 3D print. We have been studying how 3D printing has changed the world across contents (art, design, medical, buildings, etc...) and that really connects with our IB (International Baccalaureate) program vision. As we have delved into the 3d printing world, you can see their eyes ablaze with possibility, and the students are committed to bringing it to our school. Our school is also a very supportive environment for technology and has been helping to lead the way within our district. And for my math department, we look forward to transforming how our students come to understand 3D geometry and problem solving through 3D printing and design, connecting math to other content areas, and creating future Hobermans, George Harts, prosthetic gurus, and 21st Century Leonardo Da Vinci's.
