Students will be using clipboards, dry erase markers, and lowercase letter beads in their daily centers focused on literacy. In the Word Work center, students work on spelling rules and phonics; materials are limited in the classroom and the letter beads will provide another form of engagement and a fun, tactile way to practice. With the clipboards, students will be given the freedom to find another place in the classroom to complete their independent work during various other centers, such as writing. Students also have the choice to use dry erase markers on their whiteboards as an additional way to practice spelling and writing.
About my class
