Our homeroom of four resource Special Education Teachers is requesting a mobile laptop cart system for the Chromebooks that are used with our students for skills remediation, development and homework help. Because of new block scheduling there are times when all four teachers that share our resource room have students in the same period. As a result, two of our team travel from our home room to other available vacant rooms to allow our students the opportunity to experience small group personalized instruction.
The Joey Tote 30 with baskets will allow the security, flexibility and ease of portability necessary to provide our students consistent equitable connectivity to the technology they have been using to build and develop skills in noted areas of deficit. The regular use and access to technology in the form of Chromebooks has made a very real and noticeable difference in the level of engagement amongst our at risk population of learners.
