I am a special education teacher and I teach reading with students ranging from grades 1-4 who are performing significantly below grade level. Most of them require intensive reading intervention/instruction which is done through direct instruction/hands on activity and technology. My reading class is taught for 90 minutes daily. The class is divided into 3 stations; one-on-one direct instruction using Reading Mastery Program, Fast Forward- a computer based reading program, and an independent activity. With this teaching method, I've witness some growth which means the world to me and my students!
