I serve a wonderful and diverse class of 90 7th graders in a Title I school. I meet my students' needs by constantly engaging their curiosity, making their learning applicable to their lives, and demanding they determine context. Our magic word is "why"!
My students consistently rise to every challenge, have learned to take control of their education, and demand as much of me as I do of them. They are becoming skeptics, advocates, creators, and problem solvers.
