Michael Anderson has 800 students with the majority being of Hispanic ethnicity. 92.4% of these students are receiving a free or discounted lunch. Additionally, Michael Anderson School is eligible for Title 1 funds and if these students are not given an opportunity to improve their reading skills, they are at greater risk of falling further behind.
