The 4 year olds in my class are busy, busy, busy! They spend the day exploring the classroom and playground, singing songs, reading stories, working with numbers, and getting messy. As they explore the world around them, they are also building their language skills, which is an immensely important foundation for their futures.
My school is a Title I school where just over 50% of students receive free or reduced price lunch. Having access to technology in the classroom would enable my students to build their tech literacy and prepare for their educational future in ways that are motivating and exciting.
