The school houses 9 sessions of kindergarten, 4 sessions of preschool and a Malti-handicap unit. There is also a title 1 reading teacher and an intervention specialist. The students in my classroom are kindergarten age. The attend all day kindergarten. Over 50% of my students receive free or reduced lunch. They come from a variety of social-economic levels. We are located in a suburban area. Our school district has the highest poverty level in our county. There are 24 students currently in the classroom. Future students will also benefit from this project.
