I would like to provide my students with access to current events that help students get practice with periodicals. With so much going on in the world, and such a big election coming up, it is important that my students are able to read about and discuss new in the world around them. Your donation will help our classroom receive a set of Scholastic News Magazines weekly. Using Scholastic News will afford my students the right to access information about the word around them. It is also a great source for gaining nonfiction skills. Students will read these issues weekly. Along with reading, I believe it will help to facilitate classroom discussions, skills that are imperative to encouraging these students to become life long learners.
