The students at CKMS have the desire to be the positive change in the world. In order to continue in this excitement the students receive Hana Maika'i tickets from teachers, administrators, faculty, and staff on a daily basis every time they are "caught" being positive. The 900 middle school students need incentives to continue their desire to want to be "good" citizens of our world. The school is very diverse academically and socioeconomically, but the commonalities exist with all students in regards to rewards. Finding rewards that keep the students motivated will ensure that the school environment continues to improve and work toward helping others.

About my class
