Teaching Technology in a Special Act School, my primary goal is to engage students in their studies and connect the classroom to the real world, and provide them with new learning experiences. A DSLR and Table Top Light Kit will allow my students to learn about the inner workings of a camera, including aperture, ISO and shutter speed by manipulating manual settings.
Creating projects that will showcase my students' abilities will bolster their self-image and allow them to begin to view the world with open eyes. They will create quality images of their projects for student portfolios, and also images that will be exhibited in our local county fair competition, and creating Senior Portraits for students who would normally not have this opportunity. This is just the beginning, and the possibilities are endless for my kiddos!
