My students are wonderful, smart students who are challenged every day. They have many obstacles they have to overcome due to their learning needs but they are strong for continuing to push themselves and persevere. Many of my students are full of energy and require various types of stimulation to not only learn but take a break from demanding tasks. The school I work at is very encouraging school but is a low-income school. All of my students are placed in my room with some type of learning disability, which means they may need multiple means of interaction with material and manipulates to learn and retain academic skills.

About my class
