The laptops will provide individual students the opportunity to study mathematics at their own rate and level of success. Not all students are able to grasp concepts as quickly as we see necessary and will benefit from the sources of information that can be reviewed again and again at their own pace on the laptops. Some students are able to advance more quickly through the standards that are required and will benefit from real world enrichment projects that are enhanced through the technology.
All students deserve the opportunity to master mathematic concepts and skills at a rate that is as diverse as their individual learning abilities. The laptops, with mice and headsets will enable diverse learning within our classroom.
