My students are awesome!!! They come to science class every day to learn something cool. They appreciate the opportunities they are given and are excited about our lessons in the classroom. I appreciate their willingness to help others having difficulty or are in need. Some of our most generous students are those that have limited resources. It shows the character of our students and I'm proud to teach them.
(As a school population we have over 50% of students on free and reduced lunch. This percentage continues to grow every year.)
As for technology, some have technology resources at home, while others have zero access to technology. The opportunities to use technology in our school can be limited due to limitations on daily access. The students need technology access at their hands daily. It's not a goal, it is a need.
