All of our students have been identified as needing special education services. All of them have unique learning needs. These students come in with a smiling face every day even though they have many learning obstacles to overcome. Learning is not easy for them, but they all strive to do their best. Also, many of our students families are in the military which means that they have a tendency to move frequently. The transitions between schools can make their learning even more difficult.
Furthermore, maintaining attention in the classroom can be a struggle with their learning needs. Our kids need to move. When they spend so much effort trying to sit up straight or still in a chair, it takes attention away from learning. Our kids do not have time lose in instruction by trying to sit still!
