Located in the inner city of Boston, it's a school filled with motivated students. The school has over 600+ students that are from different countries such as Somalia, Korea, Mainland China, Honduras, and Ethiopia. Students who attend our school come from low-income families.
Who are my students and what do I hope to do with them each year? My students are at different levels of learning such high leveled learners, on grade level learners, and academically challenged learners that need extra support. To differentiate teaching, this is where projects creating a catapult, building bridges, and creating small or whole group PowerPoint presentation by students are all materials needed and raised through generous donor. I don't see it as the teacher being the only one who can change the way children learn. I believe it also takes donors from Donors Choose to make a huge difference in ways our children learn.
