My students are first and second graders. Some are considered economically challenged and some are learning English as their second language. All are eager to learn and practice new skills. They range from 1-3 years behind their peers academically and work hard everyday to close that gap. They present with varying degrees of learning disabilities which make it even harder for them to make progress.
