My students, most from poor families, come to school every day, each with a different story. Each kid has a unique idea about health. Some have been schooled on the benefits of living a healthy lifestyle, some act as if I was the first person who told them the impact of how they treat their bodies. I love opening their eyes, and seeing them realize this themselves for the first time.
My school is awesome! We have one of the more diverse student populations in the city. Our school is known as a place where everyone gets along. This makes me very proud to be here. Our school is a sprawling campus in the heart of the city. One may confuse it for a college campus.
