Hi,
My name is Jennifer Matlock and I am a 2nd grade teacher at a title 1 school in Chula Vista, CA. My goal is to create a warm, supportive classroom both academically and emotionally. To do this I am working to create a learning environment that is calming and meets the high energy needs of my young students, with open seating which allows students to sit where they are comfortable, fidget manipulatives, like rubber straps on chair legs for them to push against, and light filters to reduce the stress of working under florescent bulbs.
