I am asking for a class set of two books, The World Without Fish, and Flush. I am excited to share theses books with my students this year! These books will be used to teach literacy skills that are critical for high school and beyond, but I am especially excited because the books have strong connections to their other classes. The students will be able to deeply understand the topics of these books when they read them in ELA, but then connect the books to science and math. We have project-based learning planned to go along with the books, and we hope to take the students on a field trip to add even more to their learning.
