Students with special needs often struggle with language and speech. Many of my students are strong readers but when confronted with the task to read aloud to others tend to shy away by staying at their desk and will disconnect from the lesson.
One way to make reading and sharing fun and engaging is using technology to amplify, in a literal sense, and to also find creative ways to help students be heard. Microphone systems are a chance to let students express themselves in a fun way while still learning the skills they need to be the amazing students they already are.
