Welcome!
There is nothing more rewarding than contributing to a student's success. I have worked with children almost all my life. From the charitable Christmas functions my family has organized for at-risk children and the numerous youth baseball teams I have coached with my father, to teaching a very diverse and determined group of sixth grade students; I have always had the same goal in mind: improvement.
This goal has carried over into the magnificent world of teaching. Students begin each year of their educational career at different skill levels; not just different levels of academic achievement, but also levels of social and psychological development. I utilize a combination of determination, compassion and humor to help students improve in these levels of life. Their improvement as a person leads to my improvement as an educator and, ultimately, improvement leads to success.
Thank you! :)
