A majority of my students walk to and from school each day and go outside for recess and before school Vermont winters can be very cold and many of my children are not dressed for the harsh conditions Some of the families have just arrived in Vermont and need outerwear. Some of my younger students will need a change of clothes during the day and do not have a change of clothes in their back pack. My students need socks, sweatpants, leggings, coats, socks and personal hygiene products. Every child should feel safe and protected from the harsh winter elements. Properly fitting clothes are very important to the self esteem of these students. Personal hygiene items are also a necessity for students. Please help me provide warm clothing and personal hygiene items that will keep them warm and promote a positive self esteem. Ms.D School Nurse Health Educator
