My students are motivated learners who come from diverse backgrounds in an economically disadvantaged school district. They are eager to learn and make new discoveries through interest based education, paired with learning standards. Students are encouraged to take charge of their learning by choosing literature that appeals to them and reflect on their understandings/findings with peers. They are a remarkable group of kids!

About my class
