My kids are 11th and 12th grade AP Environmental Science students. They come from a wide variety of backgrounds. Some are extremely strong in science, while others have never taken an upper-level science course. Despite the differences, my students are a tight-knit group and work together as an effective team on long-term experiments like the Tomatosphere! project.
Like my class, my school also has a wide range of students. The school has around 1400 students from all socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. Projects like Tomatosphere! benefit all types of students and will strengthen science skills within our school.
