I currently teach kindergarten students at a small town elementary school in South Carolina. My students come from a variety of different economic backgrounds. While some of my students have spent several years in a structured environment, others are new to a classroom setting. However, they all come to school full of life and ready to learn. My students are sweet, energetic, observant, curious, and love to stay busy! By including sensory objects in my classroom, my students can engage in learning activities that are also enhancing creativity and inquiry, while improving fine and gross motor skills.
