My students come from an area where technology is scarce. In this low income area, my students are not fortunate to be provided with technology and even tools as simple as a pencil in their normal classroom routine.
When observing my students, I have realized that majority of my students do their best learning when provided hands on activities. Being that many of my students have discipline issues, I can provide my students with the incentive of a math corner to not only encourage them in mathematics but also have them something to strive for. Though I have full support to the best of their ability by administration, outside help is needed to provide my students with the resources that will benefit them.
