I am a self contained teacher, meaning I have the same students all day and teach them all subjects. Staying all day in one room and learning is hard for some students. To build reading stamina and fluency we need to read and stay seated. Also in small group for 20 min when they get intense teaching from me, we need to use that time wisely and focus on the task instead of urges. I love my kids no matter how much energy they have. All my students work hard and are great learners, we have small group, stations and centers for them to work. I am at a title 1 school.

About my class
