Due to my students disability of down syndrome, all material used must be realistic and in color for them to comprehend and identify with. When printing pictures, unfortunately the school only is able to provide black and white printers. Black and white images make it difficult for them to understand, they have difficulty making life connections, it also isn't interesting to them. When they are presented with images in color, my students are able to make real connections and are even more focus and engage. Bringing color to their lives is essential to their success in learning! Please help them be the best they can be.
