My students come from a very rural small town. Most of them do not have computers, phones, or tablets at home. Several of them have even shared they do not own books, so therefore it is hard for them to complete their homework reading log. My students love to have fun while learning. Our school has a high ESOL (English speakers of other languages) population, and we only have grades 3-5 on our campus. Technology is very limited for reading teachers because math and science get priority for our computer lab.
