My students are in the 4th and 5th grade. The class consists of 20 students learning to code. They are students who enjoy a good challenge and stay focused on getting the code correct. If they encounter a bug in their coding, they will keep at it until they get it right. My school consists mostly of lower income families. My coding class may be the only chance they get to learn how to code.
