My class are 5th graders in the city that has been labeled "the most dangerous city" for many years as well as being described as one of the "poorest" communities. My students know about the labels but I challenge my students every day to be the best they can be and to push themselves. They all have plans to go to college and I am willing to help them reach their goals.
