All of my students have been identified as being significantly below grade level in reading. I am confident my students will be proficient readers, but their path and pace takes us on a bit of a different journey - - one that may take a little longer, and with more supports along the way. These students really need consistent individualized support in a small group in order to close the learning gap. By having an appropriate workspace, I will be able to instruct students in a face to face small group, and provide individualized support. I will be able to work in close proximity and provide immediate feedback to students. The close proximity to students along with the flexible seating will also help my students to maintain focus and stay on task. The table and flexible seating will be used by my current and future students. I believe in my students; I know our hard work will get them where they need to be. We need a little help with our environment. Please help us to get the ideal setting in order for these students to thrive.
