I am a Kindergarten Teacher at an all Kindergarten Center, which is a Title 1, high-poverty school, and has a large number of English Language Learning (ELL) students. Due to the location of my school and the high level of poverty, my students often lack in many life experiences and materials that other children use to learn and grow on a daily bases. Many of my students are coming from homes that are often unpredictable and unsafe, therefore my students depend on my organization and routines to create a learning environment that is both safe and predictable, enabling them to find success in the educational world.
