It is essential for students today to take their time and show where they find their answers to given questions. So many times students just pick a multiple choice response, not even looking back over the passage. Using these materials, the students have the luxury to go back, highlight, and use post-its to show and explain their responses. With the use of the copy paper, pencils, scissors, and glue, the students can create graphic organizers, illustrate, and demonstrate their responses to the questions, enabling them to show what they know. It gives them the confidence to build on when giving their responses.
