Most of our learning in kindergarten is actually practicing independently or in small groups what we learned as a whole group. It's learning to apply and use what we are learning about. We do this mostly with hands-on activities that are differentiated and engaging.
Hands-on learning is developmentally the best way for kindergarten students to learn. Research supports this. The Reading and Math Center Kits will allow students to take what they've been learning about and see if they can apply it in a fun, colorful way. Each palette is also differentiated, allowing me to meet each student where he or she is.
