I teach at a Title I focus school where 97% of the students are on free and reduced price lunch. We have a fairly equal population of cultures present in our school. My students are inquisitive and ready to learn about the world. In second grade, they are really able to build and expand on their previous knowledge and take off. Their ability to be independent and take responsibility for their learning is truly impressive. While our school test scores may not be impressive, I think this group of students is ready to lead the way to growth.
